How It Works

The top 1% of hockey players have their choices and path set . There is a huge grey area where players are needed to fill rosters in every junior league and D1, D3 school around the country.

Scouting

Scouting budgets for schools and junior teams are limited, in the case of colleges, their hockey budget is the same as the archery team and the rowing team, so a strategic marketing plan is imperative, in placing the player.

Evaluate

Here is what we do at JDMC for our clients. Initially, we evaluate the player on strengths and weaknesses of their game, being in hockey for 35 years, I can tutor the player as well as find the right match.Then, along with the player, a profile is created. Their weight, position, hand they shoot, catches for goalies, where they played and action shot. Also, any video content would all be appropriate for the process.

Player Profile

Once the client reaches the midget level, the profile is sent to junior teams that would match the ability of client. Players reaching the junior level of hockey, would go thru the same exercise to all divisions of College hockey.

College Experience

Most importantly, we will find the right fit for the players ability, to create a rewarding college experience. For players that choose the Major junior route, (OHL, WHL, QMJHL) within their draft year, we would go through the same exercise with all the teams that would apply, to find the right match.

We have many relationships throughout the hockey world established over 35 years that would apply to all routes to achieve the goals of the players and their families. For younger than midget age players whose families do not live in traditional hockey markets, we can help you to facilitate a team and coach suited to your ability.

We will help create the proper message and plan that suits your player to achieve their goals academically and on the ice.
